Abbi + Zach {Love}

The weather was absolutely perfect on Abbi and Zach's wedding day.   The beauty of the Upper Peninsula was on display in all it's glory. 

Abbi and Zach filled their day with so many intentional moments.  (I was teary 3 time before the ceremony even began.)  Abbi's bouquet was made from brooches and pins she's been collecting since she was little and her Grandma helped her make it.  There was a sweet time getting ready with her mom and a precious moment when her dad saw her all dressed up.  Zach didn't get to see Abbi until she walked down the aisle, but they took a quiet moment together to pray before the ceremony began.  It was all so beautiful to witness.  For me, this is the amazing gift that photography is - the opportunity to witness these moments and capture these moments for my clients.

Kerrah + Walter {Love}

On a beautiful spring day, Walter and Kerrah said "I do" at Heritage CRC in Bryon Center. It was such a blessing to photograph this special day as they honored how God brought them together. With great joy and much laughter, they began their new life together dancing the night away at Studio D2D in Grand Rapids.

Gavin {4 Days Old}

I'm always honored with families repeatedly hire me to document milestones in their lives.  You may remember Josh and Rachel from their maternity shoot and Owen's newborn shoot.   I got to catch up with them in the fall to meet their newest addition, Gavin.  He's just precious!

Michigan weather is unpredictable.  One week before this shoot it was sunny and 80.  This was NOT the case when I met with Leslie, Josh, and their kids.  It was freezing and trying to rain during our time together.  However, these guys were amazing!  You would never know the weather was less than ideal.  It was so much fun to catch up and see how the kids have grown in the past 2 years.
