Barn at Harvest Moon Pond

There is a new business in the Poynette area that I am SO excited about!  I was honored when they asked me to take pictures for their website. 

The Barn at Harvest Moon Pond has been in the family since 1865.  Renovations began a little more than a year ago to turn their barns into a conference center and wedding venue.  I need to tell you that it's AMAZING!  Renee and Gary have thought of all the details - a warm fireplace, bridal room with 5 mirrors and a private bathroom, guys room with poker table and tv,  a spectacular bar with rustic lamps, beautiful stain glass windows, and much much more!

Heather, Aronn, and Alexis: Spring Blossoms

Every couple of months I can't resist getting some new pictures of my niece and her parents.  I can't believe how fast she's growing up!  I love all the tree blossoms in the spring and was excited to get out and take some pictures. A big shout out to Kim at Lapacek's Orchard for letting us come out on her birthday weekend!  If you're looking for a great spot to take your kids, you need to visit the orchard.

Joe + Jill = Engaged

I've known Joe since he was just a couple of years old.  Our families spent a ton of time together when we were growing up. I was so excited to meet his fiance, Jill and to get to take their engagement pictures. Jill is as wonderful and sweet as I had heard and I'm so happy that Joe has found her! Plus, they also brought their wonderful dog, Charlie along for the shoot. I'm pretty sure Charlie would be best friends with my Daisy May.  Congratulations Joe and Jill!  I'm looking forward to photographing your wedding!

Nikitta + Kier: Engaged

We had deceptively sunny, crazy windy and cold day for our photo shoot together. Thankfully Nikitta and Keir were so much fun that I didn't even notice the weather.  They're super cute together!  Congratulations on your engagement Nikitta and Keir!

I Heart Spring!

I got to play around in a gorgeous garden a couple of weeks ago.  Spring makes my heart happy and the exceptionally warm weather we had was amazing.  I'm looking forward to it coming back.

Trexon: 1 month old

Trexon is just precious!  I've been looking forward to meeting him since his parent's maternity shoot.  The crate in the picture below holds onions at the store.  They brought it home for the shoot and it was just perfect!  Congratulations Tanya and Bryce!
