About Michelle

Hi!  I'm Michelle and I absolutely LOVE this job!  I'm excited for days before each shoot and can't wait to get pictures downloaded when I get home.  I am an energetic person who loves the opportunity to be creative and make memories for you.  Taking pictures makes me smile! My love for photography began in elementary school with my first plastic 110 film camera.  My sister, brother, and family pets were frequent subjects, posing on the swing or in front of a bush.

Through travel in various countries I've fallen deeper in love with getting to know people and their stories.  I grew up in Poynette, Wisconsin a small town in the mid-west. I have been blessed to have opportunities to live in Bushy Park, Jamaica and Bangui, Central African Republic.  I have also traveled in Spain, Mexico, England, Canada, Cameroon, and Chad.

For me, this is about more than just pictures.  It's personal.  It's about your memories.  If your life is anything like mine, it’s filled with so many things. Through pictures, I want to help you remember all the steps along the way.  I like that photography has the ability to pause life, if just for a moment, capturing priceless expressions of joy, happiness, or awe.

During a shoot, you can expect me to be upbeat, positive, and energetic.  My goal is for you to leave the shoot having enjoyed your experience.  I want my pictures to reflect you naturally.  I am not afraid of getting dirty, whether that be lying on the ground or climbing trees, to get the right shot!
