Ryan: Senior

I have been blessed to meet a ton of amazingly wonderful seniors this year and Ryan is yet another name added to that list.  We had a grey, but comfortable day to play around with pictures at the high school and McDaniel's Park.  Ryan had a bunch of great suggestion as we went along which made for a really fun shoot!   

Katie, AJ, Taylor, and Braedon

Katie and I worked together the past 2 years.  When she told me that they had never had a nice family picture I was so excited for the opportunity to work with them.  This wonderful family didn't let a little rain get them down.  They were flexible as we switched venues and it was easy to see they genuinely love each other.  Taylor and Braedon were awesome... and they're clearly adorable!

Sandy: Senior

Sandy is another student that I have known since middle school and I am amazed that she is already a senior.  (I'm starting to feel old. =) ) I enjoyed getting to re-connect with her again.  During our time together I was reminded of her sweet disposition and warm personality.  I hope you have a wonderful senior year Sandy!

Freddy: 5 years old

Freddy and his parents joined us during Bryson's shoot for a couple of quick pictures.  Freddy recently turned 5 and each year for his birthday he gets a jersey with the same number.  I was impressed with his skills at bat!

Bryson: 1 year old

I was thrilled to be able to take pictures of Bryson again!  I met him at his 6 month pictures  and am amazed at how much he's grown since then.  A couple of kids from the neighborhood, who Bryson clearly adores, joined us to help keep his attention.  You'll get to meet Freddy in my next post.  Happy Birthday Bryson! 

Labor Day: Lapacek's Orchard

If you're looking for a great family outing this fall, I highly recommend that you take your family to Lapacek's Orchard.  There are tons of activities (all free!) for kids - tractor tire jungle gym, goats, kittens, emus, dogs, sunflower field, music wall, and more.  Plus, you can buy an assortment of apples, cider, caramel apples, cider donuts, and beautiful crafts.  I had a super fun time there with my niece on Labor Day.  The owners, Jared & Kim and Diane & Frank, are absolutely wonderful!   You can follow the orchard on facebook and stay up to date by reading their blog.

Tyler: Senior

I've known of Tyler for a bunch of years, but haven't had the opportunity to really get to know him until our shoot a couple of weeks ago.  After re-scheduling multiple times to avoid excessive heat, we ended up with a beautiful day for pictures.  Tyler is kicking off his senior year on the line for the McFarland football team.  Good luck this season Tyler!
